Another Run...dun dun duuuun and some pilates

This summer I have been doing something that I have NO love for. RUNNING. I dunno why I hate it so (maybe because in my volleyball days that was a form of punishment?). I can finally run 2 miles without thinking that my lungs are constricting and I'm seeing my last day. I still have a ways to go to be where I once was. Definitely not to the point of running with my physically fit, running lovin hubby.

But...

I'M BORED!! Running is boring to me. So I am going back to my original plan. I'm not a fan of. I am waking up at 6:00 in the summer morning (yuck) and hit the gym. I love their kickboxing and spin classes. I LOVE yoga (not at the gym but at BYU from the amazing Deni) but I haven't been for quite some time and feel the need to get in shape for that =).

And....

Pilates. I tell you what, I did that dang DVD of Windsor pilates so much in high school I STILL memorize that dang thing. But seeing as it tones and tightens I am doing it again. Bored there as well.

This morning Cache has fallen asleep on his gym while I was doin pilates. The very last exercise (the "seal) I hear laughing. I look over at Cache and he's on his tummy pushing himself looking at me and laughing. I said, "I can only imagine how silly mommy looks buddy." Seeing as I was rolling up and down clapping my feet together.

So hopefully the early morning waking up will be outweighed by new, fun exercising.

Cache does have other cousins ya know. They just all decided to pack up and move to other states (actually 2 of them stayed where they grew up in Idaho, one Uncle is flying helicopters in Las Vegas and an Auntie, Uncle and Cousins are in Washington).

I hope we get to see them all again VERY soon!! Cache wants to meet all the Aunties, Uncles and cousins he hasn't had a chance to yet.

On Wednesday I was feeding Cache and he was being so cute I had to get the camera out. I picked it up and heard Cache crying a little bit. I hurried and put the camera in front of his face and this was the result.

Scera Pool

Last night SaeJoon and Dorie invited us to SaeJoon's work party at Scera Pool. We excitedly accepted the invitation and arrived there at 8:30 p.m for a swim. I wish I had my camera!! Cache was soooo cute! It was a bit chilly but that did not stop Cache from enjoying himself. I tried my hardest to keep his top half dry but he splashed so much he was just as soaked as the rest of us who submerged underwater. He laughed the whole time, smiled huge (leading to an intake of pool water...yuck) and had fun playing peek a boo. He also loved watching Kaden (SaeJoon's cute 2 year old nephew) play and splash. Pretty sure Cache was wishing he could run and go on the slides like Kaden could.
After his swim he experienced something I'm positive he has not before, the cold. He had absolutely no love for it (just like his mom). But we came prepared with his cute froggy bathrobe and booties, blankets, warm bottle, warm clothes, a soft squishy bean bag mini pillow, towels, Binky and toys. After we got him out of his wet clothes and into his luxurious looking stroller I couldn't help but wish I could hop in there with him. Steve and I felt pretty dang good about being so prepared.

4th of July

This year we had a relaxing 4th of July. We went to the parade, had an impromptu picnic in the park (food from Gondolfos...my 1st time there!), home for a nap, watched the jets at stadium of fire and watched fireworks with family.

Happy 4th of July!

4 Months

Here are the stats:

16.47 pounds (80th percentile) and 26.75 inches (97th percentile)

He is a rolling fool! He has been for about a month. He rolls back to front and front to back... which makes changing diapers quite the adventure.

Cache eats rice cereal...he is not a fan of the spoon but we are working on that.

Other things Cache does:

1. Reaches for people he wants to hold him. Turns away from you if he doesn't want you.

2. Talks and talks

3. Smiles even bigger and laughs his shy laughs.

4. Does the weirdest noise and then laughs at himself

5. When he is hungry he knows when I am getting ready to feed him. Today Steve was bringing him to me and he stopped crying. Then Steve was passing him over when he said, "Just kidding." and took Cache away. Oh man Cache was TICKED! Right when Steve turned back to me he was calm again.

6. Loves to PARTAY! I can not get this boy to sleep when there is a crowd. He would put on a show all night if he could.

7. Reaches for toys

8. Puts everything in his mouth

9. If someone is not looking at him he will stare at them until they look and then he will give them a huge smile and then hide his face in my neck pretending to be all shy. Then he will look at them again and laugh.

10. Makes his daddy and me the happiest people ever!
