Not just any laugh, his infections laugh that bursts out of him and his head turns a shade of pink and he looks at you and his nose is crinkled up and he will try to talk but he can't even catch his breath.

First of all it is my all time favorite holiday.
Not only that BUT, I get to hang out with my boys.

Yup. They are the warm fuzzies in my life... I do not know what happened to them in this picture. Hang on, I'll ask the source of the confusion.

Oh, that was ahem, enlightening. On to the next reason... CHRISTMAS BREAK! Umm-hmm, icing on the C-A-K-E. Wait..."Winter Break" as Christmas is not politically correct.  Any-hoo, I get to chill for a bit. Like an hour because than I have to catch up on my mommy/wife work.

But, it doesn't matter. That is life, right? BRING IT!

Because I have more time too...

Someone asked me what my hobbies were...
I think they may have thought I had none because the list didn't come out of my mouth right away.
I had to pause and think back to the days when I had time for them. 
Sad, huh.  
In my journal I wrote of my dilema. Why couldn't my hobbies just stream out of my mouth and flow into their ear? Did I have hobbies? Well, that's lame, how do I fix it? I swear I have hobbies, what happened to me?


This is what happened....
.Life.
Life, because  I have lots to do (as most people do) and I haven't had "hobby" time for awhile. (or "Hubby time" says Steve)
Then I realized, a hobby isn't just a talent. 
It is also:


      Relaxation
             Enjoyment
                        Release
                               Center

                Holding on to you while finding out more about you.

               Holding on to sanity...

                   Putting aside stress and 

finding a release 

That is what I wrote in my journal. All the things a hobby means to me.
Then I proceeded to make a hobby list.

One of the hobbies from my list is...
Photography.


Today I enjoyed two of my hobbies, photography and spending time with my little sister.

This one cracks me up!

***First Christmas Snow***

Yesterday we looked outside and saw snow gently falling from the sky. I ran and grabbed our book, "A Snowman Named Just Bob" and we started reading. Well, only three pages into the book I glanced outside to see that the snow had stopped. Slightly disappointed I finished reading aloud our traditional first snow book and put it down. Then, this morning this happened...

And It Kept Fallling... Cache couldn't take his eyes off  the pretty white stuff falling from the sky

We were so excited we all ran out in our PJ's to the balcony. Steve and I were both barefoot. BRRR!

Steve and I are so stinkin' excited for Christmas this year! Even more than previous years because we have Cache-ers with us. 

Hair Cut Numero Dos...

Auntie did such a good job at cutting Cache's hair! He looks so grown up now!

HaPpY nINe MoNthS BuDdY!

Cache gets into everything!
He opens drawers and unloads them, he climbs on top of the dishwasher in hopes of playing with the top rack, he opens the cupboard under the sink and unloads that as well. He is keeping us busy but we LOVE it.

Cache is getting pretty brave with standing on his own. He will lift his hands in the air, stand for a minute than put his arms back down to catch himself. He is so mobile!

Cache dances! This is pretty much the cutest things I have ever seen. Put on some music and he will remain in crawling position and rock back and forth, or, he will get up on his knees and bounce up and down. It all started with a turkey that sings, "Feliz Navidad". I will get a video on here of his dancing.

If someone is taking a shower he will crawl in the bathroom and try to climb into the bathtub. We have been a lot better at shutting the door all the way. I say all the way because if the door isn't latched, he WILL open it. He gets his tiny lil' fingers under the door and swing it open.

We went to the doctor for his nine month check up and here were his statistics:

* 18.2 pounds - 16th percentile
*30 inches long - 90th percentile
