Since Then...

We have been pretty B-U-S-Y...but everybody is, so we just keep doing our thing.

Darcie came down to help me get Kami ready for both of her proms and so we got to play with Gwen. ;)

Cache now sleeps in his big boy bed

Here is the Cache man trying it out.
We even put his favorite pillow with him.
In the middle of the night he wakes up and comes to our room...when he can find it.
The first night we watched as his little silhouette  ran past our door into the office, then ran past our door again to the living room, finally Steve went and got him.

Doesn't this face just say,
"I'm about to do something dangerous!"

And he did...and he keeps doing it and my heart feels like it is going to jump out of my throat every time. The first time he did it, the home teacher was there. All the men and me. They all clapped....I held my breath.

Then he let go and stood up...AGAIN...
I threw down my camera and caught him.
I promise I will get a picture of him doing his full trick.
He is so busy all the time!!

Other things we have been doing:

Going to parks. Lots and lots of parks. So far Cache's favorite is the Arts Park because of their slides.

Jogging. Causes Stampedes. Yup.
We run by the cows on our country road and they start stampeding. I will video tape it for you. It is quite entertaining... well after the fact you realize they really aren't going to run through the barbed wire fence and kill us. Really, we were running, they stampeded, I pictured one cow "sacrificing" himself to take down the fence so the rest could get us. I ran VERY fast. Cache loved it.

18 1/2 days of school left.

We went to my 6th graders soccer game tonight. Cache loved it. He wanted to play so badly. He even learned how to dribble a soccer ball...he is pretty stinkin good at it.

We have learned a lot, experienced a lot and are ready for more.

Night Night.

Up Next

♥ SPRING BREAK ♥

We watched conference (one of my favorites by the way).
We went to St. George...
Yup Cache had to take the wheel at one point.
Time for a diaper change...
When we got to St. George we surprised everyone with our early arrival ;) Cache was greeted with  bubbles and he LOVED them.
He was running everywhere chasing them.
See...he's just a little blur.
Mandi played too...
Look...it's me ;)
The day we got there we played for a long time. We went to the pool but it was crowded so T.j and Mandi tried to recreate a pool atmosphere for Cache...

then it was time for Cache to go to sleep...
We had so much fun. We didn't really sleep as the three of us were on a full size bed.
I took the top picture at 2:52 am. I was reading a book and as most mommies know, the times for you to do things simply for you... come at strange hours.
We went to the St. George Temple and Cache LOVED running around everywhere

See that orange dot? That's my kid.

My favorite...

Right when Cache saw Jesus he ran to him.

Twinners...
(the hair)

Dancin' and listening to music with the Aunties and Uncle T.j

Playing in a puddle of water...

On the road again...
We left at 8:00 p.m.
I drove the whole way for the first time.
Kami kept me company in the front and she didn't fall asleep on me once. Thanks Kam.

The rest of our spring break was spent at our home sweet home where...
I made pizza
To those who may not believe I made this...
I have photographic evidence
Notice my face of slight worry...
But it turned out all right ;)

I even tried to spin it!!

I recommend NOT spinning the dough unless you are a true professional...and your nails aren't all done.

I also got to spend time with Cache and watch him make faces like this...

That is his "muscle" face

Catching Up

Okay, here we go. Ready?
This is what our family has been up to for the past couple of months. I will do it in as little words as possible because I am going to be adding a lot of pictures. You know how we do here at the Bourne house;)
I shall start with ...
MARCH
Cache got really sick
If you read my blog you probably read about our first ever ER visit.
He really tried to be happy still.
Napping after the ER...notice the lucky socks?
Then it was my 23rd B-day
I'm in the middle of laughing cut Cache did NOT want to sit still to take a picture with me.
Steve made this day SO special and fun for me!! He surprised me by getting all of our friends over for dessert. Before that we went out to dinner and then to a surprise location for some shoppping. THEN he got me the photoshop I have been dying to have! I know. I'm one lucky lady!

On this special day my 6th graders also threw me a "surprise" b-day party. I actually didn't know anything about it until one of the other teachers asked me to go to her room for 10 minutes to do nothing at all. They gave me lots of presents and Cache LOVED the balloons they gave me.
Hallelujah Spring

We took Cache to the park for the first time and he LOVED it.

This is when he first started to really RUN!!!

Steve had fun too ;)

Cache also got to play outside with his Auntie Mandi

They played and played and played

And Daddy taught Cache to shoot hoops
