Bournes

They are all Fabulous and AMAZING!!
I am so happy to be apart of this family! They are awesome at everything and I've even picked up a few of their awesome skills.

Thank you Karie for teaching me how to sew and cook yummy bread and other things!!
The Bourne Family
Cache does have other cousins ya know. They just all decided to pack up and move to other states (actually 2 of them stayed where they grew up in Idaho, one Uncle is flying helicopters in Las Vegas and an Auntie, Uncle and Cousins are in Washington).

Jude

I caught Carter at a bad time....he was in the middle of making an important phone call

Auntie Robin and Jude
She is also amazing at sewing cute things...just like her mom :)

Steve with Liam and Keiran

There is also Jonas, Briar, Ike a.ka. Isaac and the only girl grandchild...Ani

Ike, Jude and Cache are going to be BFF since they are all within 4 months of each other.

I hope we get to see them all again VERY soon!! Cache wants to meet all the Aunties, Uncles and cousins he hasn't had a chance to yet.

Little Poser

On Wednesday I was feeding Cache and he was being so cute I had to get the camera out. I picked it up and heard Cache crying a little bit. I hurried and put the camera in front of his face and this was the result.

Cache LOVES to have his picture taken.
I just happen to LOVE to take pictures.

3rd of July Partay!!

This picture was taken on the eve of the 4th
Why is Cache so awake at 11:45 pm and smiling away you ask?

Why the 3rd of July Party of course!! This happens to be my favorite family party of the year.

The Landing of our first family slide.

Cache's reaction = I'm crying cuz I wanna go again!

Jk, but really he didn't cry til the bottom

I wrote about the 4th but for some reason it posted pretty far down and seeing how I've written so many today (since I actually have time) just click to see what did to celebrate America.

A few pictures we love

Scera Pool

Last night SaeJoon and Dorie invited us to SaeJoon's work party at Scera Pool. We excitedly accepted the invitation and arrived there at 8:30 p.m for a swim. I wish I had my camera!! Cache was soooo cute! It was a bit chilly but that did not stop Cache from enjoying himself. I tried my hardest to keep his top half dry but he splashed so much he was just as soaked as the rest of us who submerged underwater. He laughed the whole time, smiled huge (leading to an intake of pool water...yuck) and had fun playing peek a boo. He also loved watching Kaden (SaeJoon's cute 2 year old nephew) play and splash. Pretty sure Cache was wishing he could run and go on the slides like Kaden could.
After his swim he experienced something I'm positive he has not before, the cold. He had absolutely no love for it (just like his mom). But we came prepared with his cute froggy bathrobe and booties, blankets, warm bottle, warm clothes, a soft squishy bean bag mini pillow, towels, Binky and toys. After we got him out of his wet clothes and into his luxurious looking stroller I couldn't help but wish I could hop in there with him. Steve and I felt pretty dang good about being so prepared.

THANK YOU DORIE AND SAEJOON!!

The best Cache Grant ;)

Cache and Grant's hands are pretty much the same size even though Grant is 3 months younger.
Cache's are the chubby ones to your left

Best Binkie Buds
I'm so excited to see these two cousins play together

4th of July

This year we had a relaxing 4th of July. We went to the parade, had an impromptu picnic in the park (food from Gondolfos...my 1st time there!), home for a nap, watched the jets at stadium of fire and watched fireworks with family.

Below: Cache with his ear protectors...kinda like Gwen Stefani's little boy ;)

Watching the fireworks

Cache fell aseep in his tent.

Happy 4th of July!

4 Months

Here are the stats:
16.47 pounds (80th percentile) and 26.75 inches (97th percentile)

He is a rolling fool! He has been for about a month. He rolls back to front and front to back... which makes changing diapers quite the adventure.

Cache eats rice cereal...he is not a fan of the spoon but we are working on that.
Other things Cache does:
1. Reaches for people he wants to hold him. Turns away from you if he doesn't want you.
2. Talks and talks
3. Smiles even bigger and laughs his shy laughs.
4. Does the weirdest noise and then laughs at himself
5. When he is hungry he knows when I am getting ready to feed him. Today Steve was bringing him to me and he stopped crying. Then Steve was passing him over when he said, "Just kidding." and took Cache away. Oh man Cache was TICKED! Right when Steve turned back to me he was calm again.
6. Loves to PARTAY! I can not get this boy to sleep when there is a crowd. He would put on a show all night if he could.
7. Reaches for toys
8. Puts everything in his mouth
9. If someone is not looking at him he will stare at them until they look and then he will give them a huge smile and then hide his face in my neck pretending to be all shy. Then he will look at them again and laugh.
10. Makes his daddy and me the happiest people ever!

Heart melting huh
Here we go....
This face tells it all... "Mom, what the heck are you putting in my mouth?"

Cache and The Doll

You've seen pics of Cache with the doll on my blog before. This was his first pic with the doll. As you can see he didn't like it then and he doesn't like it now.

Remember When...

Cache was only 8.3 pounds 20 1/2 inches

He is growing up so fast!
Kaleb and Cache when Cache was just a couple weeks old...Cache's face looks funny
Look how little!

Cousins

1st attempt of a picture of all the grandkids
2nd attempt...there were many attempts that night. And lots more to come
This picture of Cache with Kaleb and Lyla was taken in march.
They have all grown up a bit since then =) I love this picture! They both have funny faces

***Cache has a new cousin!! His name is Grant and hopefully we will get pictures of Cache and him together really soon.

My Little Guy

I just love him

Blessing

On May 2, 2009 Cache was blessed on a rainy Saturday afternoon at his Grandma and Grandpa Shelley's home. Steve gave an amazing blessing which made my eyes sweaty. Cache was looking handsome in his amazing tuxedo equip with tails, cumber bun and tie all made by his Grandma Bourne.

Thank you all!! We LOVE you

Tiny Love

Yesterday I went toy shopping for Cache. Was it fun? Heck yes it was!! We bought him a Tiny Love Super Deluxe Gym =)
Cache loves it! He is not one to play on the floor alone for more than 5 minutes but he played on this for over a half hour! His Grandma Jamie didn't leave the toystore without a present for Cache either. He got a super aweseome bouncer which he also loves. I'm positive I was more excited than Cache to get home open the boxes, unwind those unnecessary plastic things and free the toy for use.

3*

Cache has turned 3 months old! May 24th made it official...time is cruising by. Cache is still one chillaxin little guy. The only thing we disagree on is his rapid speed of growing up. Steve and I are pretty sure he is a "professional grower" since he is so dang good at growing so fast. Steve and I have also decided that he is a good mix of the both of us. What we hear from others the most is that he looks just like his dad except he has mommy's eyes. One thing for sure he has lost that "old man fringe" and has the perfect crew cut! No we did not cut his hair, it is just growing in that way and it is super fly! ;) My kid already has swagger!
He is one stinkin cute kid and I still can't get enough of him! Not to mention he is so nice to his mommy! He has been sleeping through the night for the past month and a half. AND today was my first day of summer vacation and he slept til 8:47! I needed to get up earlier and figured I had my own human alarm clock so why set one? Now I know...lesson learned. But sleeping in was oh so nice!
Cache is such a happy boy who laughs and gives big smiles to anyone who will look his way. Cache also loves to sing and join in on conversations. His favorite person to chit-chat with is his Auntie Dorie.
Cache is still not a fan of tummy time but he is really strong. If we lift his arms up he will bring the rest of his body up to a standing position. He loves to show off his trick and loves the cheers and claps he gets from it even more. In sunday school Steve had Cache do the trick on his lap and no one clapped or cheered because, well, we were in Sunday school. Cache looked around with the most concerned look on his face. You could only imagine what he was thinking....
"Didn't you see what I just did with my little baby legs?!"
"Did I do the trick right?"
Cache's facial expressions really say a lot. When we went to St. George (to be blogged about later) we took him swimming. He really didn't know what to think. Then some massive 4 year old comes and does a belly flop in his life jacket (the water was 2 feet deep) and splashes Cache. Cache gave him one very good scowl. When you read him a book (which he loves) he will either look interested or he will be laughing (if the book is Fly High, Fly Guy!). But no matter the face he is C-U-T-E!
Cache we love you sooooo much!!

First Trip: St. George
